I like the varied sizes of the different valued shapes, and it captures the ESSENCE of the assignment quite well, man. Word.

The image consists of multiple rectangular shapes with slightly curved sides. They are fairly spread out across the space. The shapes reach closest to the edges on the bottom left, top right, and lower right sides of the image. The sizes of the shapes are not too drastically different, the smallest being aproximately one quarter the size of the largest. The value ranges from high key to low key, with mid-range shades.
The image is very patterned. Its simplicity conveys a soft, fun feel. The energy isn't necessarily low, but it is relaxed. The soft edges and curved sides reinforce this feeling.
I find the image very succefull in its experimentation with value and shape. The range of value is clear and spread out. The shapes are simple and well placed. And the use of space is done very well, never too cluttered in one area.
